Job Description
- Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Social media Manager to join its dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will have 2 – 3 years of proven experience in social media management, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and a passion for digital marketing and social media trends.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic across all relevant platforms.
- Manage and maintain the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms as deemed relevant.
- Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including text, image, and video content.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, track KPIs, and prepare regular reports to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and recommend new strategies to enhance the company’s social media presence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and content creation, to ensure alignment of social media initiatives with overall marketing goals.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive relationships with the online community.
- Implement social media advertising campaigns, including budget management, targeting, and performance optimization.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities on social media platforms, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all social media channels, adhering to brand guidelines and company values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Communications / Journalism, or related field.
- 2 – 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Proven track record of managing and growing social media accounts, with a strong understanding of platform algorithms and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and advertising platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager).
- Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and social media trends.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques is a plus.
- Graphic design and video editing skills are desirable but not required.
Salary
N85,000 – N120,000 monthly
