Title: Specialist, Contracts

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Participate in complex contract negotiations.
  • Implement activities related to onboarding of suppliers.
  • Serve as the interface between the Legal Department and other internal functions on implementation of sub-contract strategies and sub-contract risk management.
  • Provide expert advice and support in the development and assessment of recovery plans as well as corrective and preventative actions related to subcontract claims and disputes.
  • Support Category Management teams with expert advice.
  • Review bid clarifications/ qualifications and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Senior Specialist, Contract Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law
  • Relevant certifications in contract management and/ or contract dispute resolution will be an asset.
  • +5-7 years’ cognate experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and interpretation.
