Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Description:
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Engineer with daily tasks that include calculations, structural analysis, structural engineering, and computer-aided design (CAD) of buildings and other structures. The Structural Engineer will provide guidance on design optimization, load analysis, and engineering modifications. This role is located in Lekki.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting structural analysis.
- Designing buildings to meet codes and standards.
- Assessing and mitigating risks.
- Staying updated on industry advancements.
- Overseeing construction, ensuring quality
- Solving problems that may arise during design or construction.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in calculations and structural analysis.
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and Strong analytical, design knowledge.
- Knowledge of Engineering codes and standards.
- Experience with building information modeling (BIM) software is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, communicator, and problem-solving skills.
- A minimum of HND or BSc in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Must reside on the island.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Structural Engineering or a related field.
