Title: Team Leader of Sales & Business Development

Location: Lagos

Your Role

  • Assisting in managing and executing business development strategies to meet company targets.
  • Implementing strategies as communicated by the Country Manager to drive revenue growth.
  • Analysing marketing trends and tracking local competitor activities.
  • Providing valuable insights to refine the company’s operational and marketing strategies.
  • Leading and motivating the sales and business development teams to achieve targets.
  • Monitoring team performance, offering coaching and guidance to team members.
  • Actively participating in the recruitment of new employees in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Department.
  • Organizing and participating in training sessions, seminars, and webinars in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team success.
  • Investigating growth opportunities with clients.
  • Producing business performance reports and other relevant reports as required by Country Manager.

The Ideal Candidate

  • University Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development within the forex or financial industry.
  • Business fluency in English (oral and written).
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and all other Microsoft office tools – Computer proficiency is a must.
  • Detail-oriented and focused.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, expand and generate business.
