Title: Technical Assistant to the Chief Executive

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  • The Technical Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the Chief Executive.
  • In this role, the candidate will collaborate with the team to manage technical projects, provide administrative support, and coordinate various activities that ensure the smooth running of the Chief Executive’s activitiesand office

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and prioritize the Chief Executive’s daily activitiesin advance for his approval including scheduling meetings,arranging travel, and responding to emails.
  • Provide technical support to the Chief Executive, including conducting research, data analysis, and interpretation of information.
  • Coordinate and oversee the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and other relevantdocuments.
  • Maintain the Chief Executive’s files, records and databases includingconfidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Work closely with Audit & Assurance, Tax Consultancy, Business Development, Operations, and finance teams to ensure closeout of critical projects and follow-up.
  • Occasional remote working with the Chief Executive, Business Development, Operations, and finance in-country and outside the country (Local andInternational).
  • Update the Chief Executive on critical information as it arises, track project progress, and ensure that milestones are achieved on-time.
  • Ensure all correspondence and documents are accurate, concise, and of high quality, usingappropriate tools and maintaining version control.
  • Collaborate with the Confidential secretary /Administrator in running the Lagos offices of the company
  • Work the CEO to meet targets and deadlines by clients .
  • Act as liaison between the Chief Executive and other organizational units and stakeholders,ensuring that the communication flows effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships at all levels, including internal and external customers,suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Support efficient implementation of new and current technical processes, programs, tools, and practices as directed.
  • All other tasks related to the above functions as delegated by the CEO.

Requirements

  • Graduate Degree qualification in Accounting, Business Admin or a related course and ICAN or ACCA certification is an added advantage
  • Candidates with Masters degree without ICAN or ACCA will be considered .
  • 2-3 years of administrative and technical support experience in an finance, business consultancy environment orrelated field
  • Previous experience working in an audit firm is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of project management principles and tools.
  • Experience with Audit Assurance/ Tax consultancy
  • Must reside on the Island for proximity (this is required please)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with clients, internal peers, inside/outside clientsetc.
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.

  • Proven passion and enthusiasm for carrying out administrative duties and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, andaccounting software etc

Salary

  • N180,000 – N250,000 / Month.
