Title: Training Coordinator

Location: Lagos

Position Summary

  • S/he is responsible for the management of the end-end activities involved in receiving, escalating, and monitoring customers’ complaints, technical and commercial issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
  • Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.
  • Gather and evaluate information from clients and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
  • Come up with training programmes/synopsis.
  • Write proposals to suit training need of clients.
  • Follow up with leads to close business.
  • Generate training reports and analysis for every client and the business.
  • Generate the training certificate for clients.
  • Engage facilitators before and after the training.
  • Ensure end to end training process.
  • Liaise with the finance team to chase up facilitators ‘fee.
  • Ensure training venues are conducive and convenient for use.
  • Develop the training calendar to suit clients ‘needs.
  • Follow up with payments from clients.
  • Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.
  • Coordinate training materials/tools and get them to the venue in good time.
  • Recommend training materials and methods, order and maintain in-house training equipment and facilities and manage the budget set for training.
  • Every other duty assigned in line with the training intervention.
  • Recruit and train new Trainers, delegate training tasks to the new Trainers and evaluate performance.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • BSC/HND Degree in any relevant subject
  • Cognate/Relevant Experience in the same field.
  • 3 to 5 years cognate experience.
  • MBA or a master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Must currently reside in Oshodi and its environs.
  • Competencies Required for the Job
  • Ability to operate media equipment such as projectors and personal computers.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyse data.
  • Ability to work with a team and have attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills and both verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organization skills, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge about traditional and modern training methods and techniques
  • Knowledgeable about learning management systems, instructional design and e-learning platforms
  • Proficiency in word processing and presentation software
