Job Description:

• In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various business activities of the Branch. This includes but is not limited to managing Trust Accounts for Public, Corporate, and Private clients. Your primary duty will be to safeguard the interests of Bondholders, ensuring that their obligations are met. This involves ensuring that Bondholders in the Abuja and Northern region receive their Principal & Interest payments on time. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating Trust transactions, taking possession of trust assets, and transferring original title documents to the Head office in Lagos.
• You will also serve as the representative of Bondholders within the region and provide necessary approvals and consents. Regular reporting to the Operations department at the Head office will be part of your responsibilities. Identifying and prioritizing trust and other business opportunities to deepen relationships and enhance revenue is a key aspect of this role. Retaining business and fulfilling fiduciary responsibilities is crucial.
• Meeting and engaging with clients, attorneys, accountants, consultants, and co-fiduciaries, as well as presenting ideas and solutions to prospective and existing clients, will be part of your daily activities. You are expected to enhance the company’s reputation with High-Net-Worth individuals and their influencers. Ensuring the implementation of Trust policies and procedures in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives is essential. Proper documentation of all Trust Relationships and maintaining Trust files will be your responsibility.
• Your ability to assess client needs, adapt products to meet those needs, and deliver them with credibility and confidence is vital. You will also establish performance objectives and targets for team members and monitor and evaluate their performance.

Required Skills and Attributes:

• High integrity is a must.
• In-depth knowledge of trustees’ responsibilities in transactions or Debt issues, with a background in Investment Banking.
• Strong networking skills, with a good understanding of Abuja and Northern states.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending Credit Legal Documentation.
• Strong presentation skills, including the ability to communicate in local languages.
• Marketing and Relationship Management Skills are essential.
• Industry and Product Knowledge.
• Product and Business Development Skills.
