1). Plant Manager

Location: Nigeria

Department: Supply Chain

About the Role

  • Coordinate key plant operations activities (manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and support functions i.e., Finance, HR, IS, and Process systems) to deliver high-quality products and services at the lowest cost whilst consistently meeting internal and external customer’s demand, in line with corporate objective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Cost optimization, budget delivery, and control of main cost drivers in Manufacturing.
  • Ensure adherence to Food and Beverage Legislation, TCCC Standards, ISO certification, Good Manufacturing Practices, and other internal and external regulatory compliance.
  • Drive MANEx to deliver a high productivity standard in the plant.
  • Ensure usage and exploitations of management systems to affect financial controls positively and maximize profit.
  • Prepare, present, and interpret Manufacturing KBI’s, make recommendations that result in increased productivity and efficiency, reduced cost, and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Builds team’s capabilities through implementation of training and development programs and maintain high levels of employee relationships.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with the team, internal customers, peers, institutions, suppliers.
  • Maintain high (100%) standards of GMP, Safety, and Security in the Plant and all sales depots.
  • Exploit management tools (BASIS, PRS – production reporting system, IM – inventory management, IC – internal control, EXIM – excellence in manufacturing, etc.) to maximize opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Relate with the commercial team on demand and Operational planning to drive profitable volume growth.
  • Deliver quality products at the right time and mix (SKU’s store-keeping units) to all sales depots within the prescribed sales stock levels.
  • Balanced knowledge in general management, manufacturing, financial, and supply chain management to provide strategic leadership.

Educational Qualifications / Knowledge

  • University and/or Advanced Degree relevant to Manufacturing (Engineering, Food & Beverage Processing related)
  • 7-10 years of cognate experience in driving high-performing manufacturing operations
  • In-depth knowledge of bottling operations and technologies: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health & Safety

About the Role

  • The Trade Marketing Sales Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping the success of Trade Marketing function by delivering comprehensive sales reporting, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Their efforts directly impact the decision-making process of Trade Marketing function, enabling them to achieve Regional and National insights on promotion & competition activities in trade.
  • This role requires some close engagement with senior stakeholders, and helps drive data-informed strategies, and elevate the strategic decisions that directly impacts the performance of our sales force.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Promotion Performance Reporting:

  • Spearhead the creation and timely delivery all Trade Marketing Promotions reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with Channel Managers to ensure these reports are tailored to their specific needs and drive valuable insights.
  • Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), benchmarks, and targets for Marketing Promotion performance tracking

Strategic Insights and Visualization:

  • Innovate by designing and updating interactive dashboards and visualizations, enhancing decision-making for the Trade Marketing Function
  • Champion the optimization and automation of reporting processes, elevating data accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Work alongside stakeholders to identify and implement process enhancement.

Data-Driven Planning and Target Setting:

  • Craft precise promotion forecasts and actionable insights that empower the Trade Marketing team in their strategic planning
  • Sales volume sizing for all proposed/planned promotions

Ad-hoc Initiatives and Leadership Support:

  • Assist Trade Marketing team with ad-hoc investigative reports and tracking region-focused Key Business Indicators (KBIs).
  • Compile insightful presentations for Trade Marketing Leadership Team meetings, offering valuable insights drawn from Sales, Brand & Pack regional/National performance.

Qualification and Experience

  • B.Sc. or HND, preferably in an analytical subject area (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics).
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Working in the FMCG space is a plus
