1). Associate, Reconciliations
Location: Lagos
The Role:
- We’re looking for an Associate, Reconciliations to join the Global Operations team to ensure that our payment commitments are delivered on-time to our merchants.
- The right candidate for this role will play a critical role in enabling the realization of this opportunity and simultaneously ensuring optimal validation of balances and the reasonableness of each of the accounts that Flutterwave uses for its transactions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct reconciliation on financial records across all payment methods (collections and payouts) – examine the money coming in and going out of the organisation and make sure it is recorded and processed correctly
- Identify discrepancies and investigate discrepancies or errors that arise during the reconciliation process, determining their root causes and working to resolve them
- Research and analyse financial data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues that require further investigation.
- Prepare and present reports summarising the results of reconciliations, identifying any issues or discrepancies and recommending actions to address them.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that financial data is accurate and consistent across all areas of the business.
- Maintain accurate records of all reconciliations performed, ensuring that they are properly documented and filed for future reference.
- Work closely with Flutterwave partners and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Any other duties assigned
Required competency and skillset to be a waver
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in internal/external auditing or reconciliations
- High attention to detail, well organised and excellent analytical skills.
- Strong excel skills, ability to handle large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.
- Client engagement experience.
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage projects.

3). Senior Associate, Customer Lifecycle Management
Location: Lagos
The Role:
- We are looking for a Senior Associate, Customer Lifecycle Management to join our team. Our mission is to deliver best-in-class, simplified digital payments experience for our customers across borders within and outside of Africa, and market-leading payment alternatives. Our merchants use this platform to collect customer payments, issue cards, pay suppliers, salaries, and remittances. You will be responsible for driving the geographic coverage and develop innovative solutions to fulfill growing consumer needs.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop a customer lifecycle campaign program and work with the commercial and marketing operations to implement it.
- Manage the end-to-end process for lifecycle customer communication across all channels – email, push, in-app messages – from concept to execution and performance analysis.
- Develop segmentation strategy, target prioritization, and multi-channel nurturing strategies (touches, messaging/ content assets, CTAs/ journeys).
- Analyse campaign performance and use data and insights to identify and implement opportunities for increasing engagement and conversion rates at all stages of the customer’s lifecycle journey.
- Create tailored marketing content for account management/customer success to help at-risk customers with training and valuable content
- Target happy customers for upsell, cross-sell, and advocacy opportunities
- Create and implement a clear A/B testing plan for customer-focused campaigns.
Competency And Skill Requirements
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a B2B2C Customer facing role.
- Strong track record of successful cross-channel (email, push, in-app messages etc.) lifecycle comms
- End-to-end planning, development, and execution of engaging lifecycle campaigns.
- Customer-first attitude: can demonstrate the ability to put yourself in customer shoes and have a deep understanding of customer segmentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strive to have a customer-first mindset.
- Able to work well with data as part of database analysis and segmentation.
- Can easily collaborate with other teams such as data and engineering teams.
- Comfortable working with different departments and senior stakeholders. You can build relationships and alignment but are not afraid to push ahead on your vision.

The Role:
- Flutterwave is seeking an experienced and visionary Product Manager specializing in Compliance within the payments/financial sector to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our products adhere to regulatory standards, driving the development of compliance features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver industry-leading solutions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Compliance Strategy: Develop and execute the compliance strategy for our FinTech products, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements. Stay abreast of industry regulations and evolving compliance standards, and proactively integrate changes into product development.
- Product Development: Collaborate with engineering, design, and other teams to incorporate compliance features seamlessly into product development processes. Define and prioritize compliance-related user stories, ensuring they are integrated into the product roadmap.
- Regulatory Framework: Serve as the subject matter expert on relevant financial regulations, such as KYC, AML, GDPR, and others. Work closely with legal teams to interpret and implement regulatory requirements in product development.
- Risk Management: Identify potential compliance risks and work with stakeholders to develop and implement mitigation strategies. Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and make recommendations for improvement.
