1). Technician – Mechanic CAT

Location: Niger

Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in CAT tractors.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential problems and ensure proper functioning of the equipment.
  • Perform repairs and part replacements as needed, ensuring compliance with CAT’s technical standards and specifications.
  • Use diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and specialized software to aid in identifying and resolving problems.
  • Efficiently handle various repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission work, brake systems, steering systems, and other major components.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and service reports.
  • Coordinate with the service manager and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to work schedules.
  • Comply with all safety guidelines and procedures while working on CAT tractors and related equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Stay updated with the latest CAT tractor models, technologies, and repair techniques through training and self-learning.

Qualifications

2). Artisan Electrician

Location: Niger

Responsibilities

  • Electrical Installations: Perform the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components. Ensure that all installations meet relevant codes and standards.

3). Specialist – Factory Machineshop

  • Equipment: The machineshop contains a range of specialized machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, CNC machines, EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) machines, and more. These machines are capable of shaping, cutting, drilling, and finishing workpieces with high precision.
  • Tooling and Fixtures: The machineshop is equipped with a variety of cutting tools, fixtures, jigs, and clamping devices to securely hold and position workpieces during machining operations. These tools and fixtures are essential for maintaining accuracy and repeatability in the manufacturing process.
  • Setup and Operation: Skilled machinists in the machineshop are responsible for setting up the machines according to specific job requirements. They install the appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces, and program CNC machines to execute the desired operations.
