1). Technical Sales Expert, C&I

Key Responsibilities
General:
- Implement the agreed growth strategies and plans as set out by the VP, C & I Business
- Support in driving the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales strategies for the business.
Sales Management:
- Provide regular reporting on sales management, sales pipeline development, forecasting, key account status, market condition updates, sales results, and budget performance.
- Actively provide requisite client support during the sales cycle including inquiry generation, load analysis/energy audits, offer submission, techno-commercial discussion, financial negotiation, and contract closure.
- Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts and the technical and commercial decision-makers in these companies.
- Identify client requirements and proffer product, project, C & I, or knowledge-based solutions.
- Provide key account management support for existing clients and target new potential accounts for direct selling to potential clients guided by a strategic roadmap.
- Conduct periodic technical reviews of competitors/market/industry offerings and ensure that Husk’s offering is at par with such by presenting recommendations and reports.
- Performance will be assessed by pipeline generation, projects closed, project profitability, revenue, customer relationship enhancement, brand influence, and enhanced market competitiveness.
Business Support:
- Co-ordinate with the Engineering and Projects Teams on inputs regarding client-specific solutions and efficient project deployment.
- Identify and select Products/Technologies/Vendors/Service Providers/Tools in alignment with the Procurement Team ensuring the best prices, and reliability.
Stakeholder Management:
- Coordination with clients and prospective customers, business meetings, progress tracking, and site visits.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Attributes:
- A Degree in Electrical Engineering from a leading institution or a related field
- 2 – 4 years of proven experience
- Background in Electrical Engineering with proven experience in sales and business development in the energy sectors particularly solar, C & I project development, RE + BESS projects.
- Target Oriented Hard-Core Sales professionalism in the Solar segment with Commercial & Industrial segments.
- Capability of closing 200KW minimum Sales every month & generating 1MW Sales Funnel every month.
- Existing strong contacts in C&I Space in Nigeria.
- Experience in proposal drafting.
- Highly numerate and analytical, comfortable with interpreting multiple data points to form hypotheses and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in deal structuring and design tools.
- Experience working in diverse environments.

2). Go To Market (GTM) Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
- Organize promotional events at our minigrid locations to create broad awareness of our 24/7 electricity services and energy-efficient electrical appliances.
- Develop marketing campaigns that resonate with rural customers’ aspirations in Nigeria.
- Hire a team of lead generation agents associates and help the field sales team acquire customers for Husk mini-grids and energy-efficient appliances (Freezers, LED TVs, etc.).
- Champion customers’ growth through great marketing initiatives: master the intersection between the value of the product and the prospective user.

- Proven track record of innovative consumer marketing accomplishments/high-impact results (based on metrics/ROI).
- Good understanding of consumer insights and primary research concepts and tactics such as home use testing, focus groups, surveys, attitudinal, ethnographic, and concept testing.

3). Design Engineer

Role Summary
- Husk is seeking a Design Engineer to join the Engineering team in Nigeria. This individual will play an integral role in providing support to the Engineering Design Team in ensuring the effective, efficient, and timely implementation of all engineering design inputs for HMGs, and C&I installations.
- We are looking for someone who has the willingness and enthusiasm to grow and learn the technicalities around electrical design and understands the need and use of technology (and its application) in the design of power installations.
- The individual should also be passionate about contributing to solving one of Nigeria’s most critical challenges – the energy access deficit.
Key Responsibilities
General:
- Play a key part as a member of the Engineering Team in systems sizing, design, and analysis.
- Demonstrate ethics and professionalism.
- Support the optimization of various Husk NG activities to ensure best practices are entrenched towards more efficient processes.
- Assist in documenting and developing industry best practices, standards and guidelines.
- Research, document and comply with local and national code requirements in project jurisdictions.
Engineering Design:
- Create, review, and modify drawing sets and technical inputs in AutoCAD and other custom software tools.

4). Facilities and Security Coordinator

This individual will play an integral role in ensuring the timely implementation of all activities to ensure proper facilities management as well as lead all security engagements across Husk Minigrids and Potential Minigrids. We are looking for someone who has experience within the Nigerian context and understands the need to ensure that facility and security management requirements are coordinated efficiently.
- The individual should also be passionate about contributing to solving one of Nigeria’s most critical challenges – energy access deficit and supporting the growth of the Husk business in Nigeria.
- This position provides the opportunity to join a growing team that is changing the face of rural electrification in many countries in Asia and Africa, including India, Tanzania, Nigeria, etc.
Key Responsibilities
General:
- Responsible for all physical security and risk vulnerability inspections, evaluations, and recommendations for employee/equipment movement across locations.
- Overall responsibility for advising the top management on all applicable security engagements.
- Coordinate site maintenance activities to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Coordinate timely responses on facility, security, and maintenance updates and requests.
Facility Management:
- Develop and implement procedures for managing all Husk Nigeria facilities and locations, ensuring efficient and timely action is taken for required remediation as necessary.
- Review facilities’ designs and advise on locations for holding sensitive materials.
- Overall responsibility for facility management and engagement with employees, stakeholders, and suppliers/vendors on best practices for ensuring facility maintenance is a priority.
Security Coordination:
- Conduct and report on security assessment on proposed locations prior to entry.
- Act as the first point of contact with all security personnel at Husk locations for effective coordination of security within these locations
- Train and supervise all field personnel on self-preservation basics and security awareness.
- Participating in surveillance and recommending actions to avoid conditions conducive to security threats such as vandalism, terrorism, kidnapping or theft.
- Access threats and security compromises of staff and equipment during field engagements between staff and various stakeholders and conduct proper de-escalation procedures.
- Lead engagements with all relevant security agencies and community security apparatus.
- Lead recommendations for best practices in efficiently mitigating theft, damage, and other security-related risks.
- Overall responsibility for security coordination and journey management.
Administrative Support:
- Research and analyze security-related information from a variety of local and international media sources, in order to produce a formal weekly security update.
- Ensuring that procedures and requests related to physical security are efficiently treated, such as: issuing/revoking access cards, regulating visits by consultants, subcontractors, etc., and coordinating alarm system operations.
- Evaluate clearances for management and personnel according to the information and property they may access.
- Ensure that contingency plans for Evacuation, Relocation, Hibernation, and Medical Evacuation are in place, disseminated, and adopted amongst relevant employees, including a detailed contextual assessment and regular sitreps.
- Other admin-related tasks may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Attributes:
- A Degree in Security Studies, Security Management, Facilities Management, or a related Degree.
- A Postgraduate degree and/or related professional qualifications, a plus.
- 4-7 years of experience in a similar role, within the power/telecoms/Oil & Gas etc.
- Experience engaging with stakeholders in core rural locations is highly desired.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact with stakeholders, senior management, and law enforcement.
- Ingenuity and persistence to obtain case information not readily available with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good organizational skills needed to manage a high volume of assigned cases.
- Knowledge of the relevant regulations, safety protocols, maintenance planning/scheduling, and investigation methods.
- Display good interviewing and interrogation skills along with the capability of drafting reports.
- Honest and ethical with high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
- Fair knowledge of field security and Fraud Mitigation.

- Must be able to live and work out of Lafia and in/around rural off-grid locations where Husk has its assets and potential asset locations.
