1). Key Account Manager – Home/Appliances Category

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • As Key Account Manager, you will have the end-to-end responsibility of the customer experience and growth of the key vendors assigned to you.
  • Your role is to bring in the relevant assortment, design targeted promotions, and manage key vendors in our marketplace.
  • Constant interface with the Commercial operations, Vendor experience & Marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous growth of our existing business by owning pricing and promotions strategy, working with marketing teams to improve product content and visibility; and managing stock availability by coordinating teams across the business to bring the product to the customer.
  • Complete Sales performance of the 3c’s Categories, vendors, merchant management and monitoring of sales strategies with a view to increasing the Business unit’s Net Margin Position (NMP) & Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV).
  • Customer acquisition through Value Offering, Sales Campaign Management, etc.
  • Create and present strategic insights for the Business unit to gain alignment of major initiatives at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Analyze & Present post – promotion analysis for retail and
  • Marketplace, quantifying impact to brand and category.
  • Define and optimize curation/assortment selection strategy for your portfolio ensuring relevance of selection/styling to optimize revenues and sales velocity.
  • Support product and content creation process to increase assortment live.
  • Plan and maintain constant stock availability.
  • Trend Spotting: Should be able to identify broader trends and fill category gaps
  • Build weekly marketing plan, and contribute determining which products/subcategories will be promoted on website and through all marketing channels (Newsletters, Facebook, etc).
  • Develop strong analytics to evaluate daily/weekly/monthly performance and optimize further marketing, pricing, and product selection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5- 10 years experience.
  • Have the ability to prioritize key accounts
  • Process Improvement Management
  • Good understanding of P&L, and Cash-Flow Management
  • Skilled negotiation & Value-based selling
  • Experience negotiating bulk discounts, MOQs & Credit Terms
  • Experience building partnership with strategic OEMs.
  • Owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power -point) tools.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and presentation

2). Commercial Category Analyst

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for an insightful, detail-oriented Analyst to work with our internal departments and management team as they collect and review data and use findings to optimize processes and develop stronger, more effective business strategies.
  • An ideal candidate will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.
  • To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.
  • The Analyst will use creativity and technical skills to locate data sources, mine, visualize, interprete, forecast, validate, protect, and store data, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and use findings to develop strategies to reduce costs, improve processes and practices, and increase efficiency, quality, security, and consistency.
  • The Analyst will also create reports and presentations and summarize complex information.

Daily Routines:

  • Collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and other helpful
  • Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Using data to develop and optimize strategies and processes, increase profits, efficiency, quality, or security, and reduce costs.
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
  • Working with internal departments to collect data and develop and implement strategies.
  • Identifying and validating new data sources.
  • Creating reports and presentations to summarize findings and influence company decisions.
  • Working with the management team to establish project objectives, budgets, and timelines, monitor progress, and evaluate performance.
  • Implementing policies and procedures that keep company data and information secure as it iscollected, analyzed, stored, and discarded.
  • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Reviewing and improving analytics processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency,
  • accuracy, and security.
  • Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related fields. Certifications, or other distinctions related to data analysis are a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, Tableu, Jira, MS Office and other analytics software. Mastery of
  • certain programming languages may be required.
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Ability to recognize patterns and trends in large data sets and use numerical information to
  • develop business strategies.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
  • Strong math, organization, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional presentation, research, and verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to summarize and explain complex information to other.
