1). Category Manager Production Services
Location: Lagos
JOB SUMMARY
- Drive and be accountable for category performance and initiatives in own Country and others where responsibility has been assigned in the category charter. Where and when appropriate participate in regional or global category management teams representing own Country
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the management of cluster categories for the LafargeHolcim group by representing own Country in cross-functional teams with full accountability for category performance
- Develop Procurement category strategies as a member of the category management team that are integrated and aligned with overall global strategies, and with the LafargeHolcim business
- Drive the realization of savings, supply efficiency, quality, and process improvements in own and other Countries, in line with regional and global strategies.
- Identify saving opportunities and initiate individual projects and initiatives at all operational levels
- Where and when appropriate represent and serve other Countries without direct category management representation for the respective category(ies) and be accountable for delivery of savings in these and own Country
- Drive initiatives and projects, identify and remove potential barriers to success
- Ensure that local strategies are integrated and in alignment with the regional and global category approach and LafargeHolcim stakeholders.
- Align stakeholders through focused change management programs
- In line with regional and global strategies, design and execute strategic projects and targets
- Ensure the implementation and tracking of performance indicators and achieved results.
- Assume full accountability for delivering targeted bottom line results for each category
- Provide regular reports and updates to local, regional and/or global governing bodies (councils) as required
- Ensure that own Country execute the category strategy and actions as required and agreed. Where compliance is an issue, find and eliminate root causes
- Initiating and supporting the RFx processes locally as defined by strategy
- Ensure that the procurement initiatives tracking tool where implemented (PITT) is kept up-to-date for own initiatives and projects
- Where and when appropriate participate in regional or global category teams to ensure the successful implementation of strategy and achievement of targets and results.
- Where and when appropriate represent own Country as a member of the regional or global category teams (participation level determined by Country spend) to establish strategies and initiatives

PROFILE REQUIRED
- BSc./HND minimum
- Minimum 3 years in strategic procurement role (category management, sourcing) with exposure to supply chain management, complex strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards
- Demonstrated performance in working within cross-functional teams, with requisite drive and energy to ensure that a challenging benefits and capability building agenda is successfully delivered
- Engineering or Operational back ground would be advantages
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively/convincingly at all levels (including technical and operational) and with all functions at least in English
- Highly effective time management, planning and organization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and drive tasks to completion in a fixed time-frame and in a pressured environment
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships across multiple functions, countries, regions and cultures
- Demonstrated broad understanding of the content, processes and delivery channels in the field of the assigned categories
- Ability to deal with ambiguities, conflicts and adversarial relationships
- Expert negotiation skills
- Ability to assess potential and risks associated with supplier and market changes, and integrate with category and sourcing strategies

2). Warehouse Manager, Mfamosing
Location: Lagos
JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for general coordination and supervision of stores administration and
- inventory management.
- Supervision of stock receipts, transfers, issues, returns and general stores accounting.
- Responsible for managing the inventory and ensure optimum stock levels are maintained.
- Ensures relevant spares and materials are stocked.
- Responsible for company’s procedure related to stock material management.
- Receive and confirm for approval the purchase requisition for stock items.
- Ensures the removal of obsolete items as determined by the users.
- Monitors stock taking.
- Maintains stock items in good and appropriate condition
- Contributes in optimisation of Working Capital Requirement (WCR) by optimising stock holding and cost of storage.
- Give the direction for Stock Strategy Analysis.
- Define plant stock type standard, consignment, and Virtual.
- Define MRP parameters, Reordering point, Lot size (type/min/max/max level),

- ERP System as obsolete, Review final list to match it against the approved list, Relocate the obsolete parts in a separate area in the warehouse, extended to Dispatch / Dispose the goods and post them in the system

Physical Inventory
Leads the Physical Inventory which refers to process of physically determining and recording existing stocks in order to ensure the level of stock currently on hand. Actual stock levels are determined and compared with the book inventory balances and any differences is found, may be Adjusted/corrected as necessary.
Stock Strategy
Ensures adequate compromise between the Material Availability, its impact on Plant Operation and on Optimum Stock Level, meaning lowest sustainable Net Working Capital, at plant / OpCo / Region level.

Stock Management
Responsible for stock movement – Goods Issue (GI) and Goods Receipt (GR). The Inventory Management system supports the following types of goods movement:
- Withdrawal of material for production orders
- Receipt of stock and non-stock items into warehouse
- Scrapping and withdrawal of material for sampling
- Return deliveries to vendors
- Other types of internal staging of material
- Deliveries to vendors without the involvement of the SD
Obsolete Management
Contribute to the quality and level of inventories in LafargeHolcim, having a direct impact on:
- Net working capital levels: by contributing to define and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Plant reliability: by having the right parts, in the right conditions, and at the right time to ensure the reliable operation of plant machinery and equipment
- Financial Statements:
- Contributes to the reliable reporting of inventory balance

MRP Management
- The main function of Material Requirements Planning is to supervise stocks to ensure material availability, that is, to procure the requirement quantities for in-house activities.
- Purchasing proposals are automatically created in SAP for the Purchasing and Manufacturing departments.
- This target is achieved by using various materials planning methods which each cover different procedures.
- The MRP process determines:
- Which materials are needed?
- What amount?
- When are they needed
Inventory Reporting
- Monitor the realization of the plans. Follow-up tasks defined in mayor shut-downs in a daily frequency.
H&S and Environment
Ensures all activities within the warehouse are carried out in line with LH H&S standards. Active participation of his team in all organised safety activities within and outside the plant.
People Management
Takes care of his own development needs and train maintenance people on planning requirements
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Engineering/Supply Chain/Business Administration
- 5 years’ experience in Warehouse Operation
- Must have a technical Degree/Diploma (In Engineering) or Degree in Business
- Administration.
- Sound knowledge SAP Inventory application is essential for the job holder
- Professional Qualification (e.g. CIPSMN) is a major advantage.
- Experience in heavy industry preferred
- Microsoft Office, SAP Inventory Management
- Knowledge of cement production process
- Knowledge of Inventory management system, Basics of Cost
