1). Manager – Infrastructure Design

2). Advisor – Banking Services

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Mission: 

  • To monitor the banking services provided to MTNN and ensure compliance across board with the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between MTNN and banks.

Description:

  • Collate and analyze data on cash movements, bank charges, interest rates, exchange rate movements, and placements.
  • Set up and manage MTN bank accounts, monitoring bank tariffs and price books for bank charges.
  • Verify all general ledger balances relating to bank accounts, identifying banking service gaps across the business units that interface with banks.
  • Monitor sweeps from various sub accounts to main accounts for compliance, ensuring credit interest is accurately entered and applied every month as agreed by the various banks.
  • Review banking Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in line with changes in the banking environment, ensuring compliance issues and complaints relating to banking services are followed up and resolved.
  • Implement Treasury policies, processes, and procedures, maintaining Treasury records and audit trails in strict compliance with MTNN policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the monthly reconciliation meeting, providing banking reports for the year-end audit as they relate to Treasury.
  • Conduct research and compile data, benchmarking Treasury and banking services.
  • Obtain feedback and recommendations from banks on service issues and standards, while monitoring and reporting on the quality of banking services.
  • Manage information flow, ensuring clear correspondence and up-to-date communication with banks at all times.
  • Interface with bankers and financial institutions on behalf of the Treasury department.

Education:

  • First degree: – Accounting, Economics, or any Finance related discipline.
  • Fluent in English
  • A full qualification or membership in a professional accounting association (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, ACT, CFA) will be an added advantage.

Experience:

3–7 years’ experience in an area of specialization, with experience working with others

  • Experience working in a medium-sized organization.
  • Experience in a financial environment in Treasury or banking.
  • Familiarity with good accounting practices and the Nigerian policy environment.
  • Extensive bank reconciliation experience.
  • Audit, compliance, and/or internal control experience.
  • Knowledge of banking processes and products.
  • Customer service or performance management experience will be an added advantage.

3). Manager – Business Strategy

  • Support the organization’s strategy development and review process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to monitor and report on the delivery of strategic objectives, priorities, initiatives, and KPIs.
  • Support the cascade of Group and Opco strategic objectives, priorities, and initiatives across the business in collaboration with corporate communications and other stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation and facilitation of board and leadership retreats by undertaking research, preparing presentations, guiding divisions in the preparation of required retreat documents, capturing highlights, preparing retreat reports, etc.

Description:

  • Provide an analytical mindset for solving complex business problems and providing relevant insights for leadership to make business decisions.
  • Focus on content development for initiatives and projects that are required to be incubated by the Strategy and Innovation team.
  • Facilitate diagnostics and problem-solving workshops, applying economic and business principles and recognizing the intricacies of complex problems, to develop innovative solutions.
  • Deploy rigorous analytical and data synthesis skills; in particular, develop decision support models to guide strategy and key operational decisions.
  • Support the identification and framing of projects in response to market/industry dynamics, business unit, and enterprise-wide priorities.
  • Ensure content and solutions are aligned with global best practices.
  • Articulate project scope, delivery requirements, business case requirements, and implementation milestones.
  • Translate teams’ discussions and decisions into effective presentations (tailored to audience and purpose).
  • Work with senior management to prioritize initiatives within strategy and innovation and allocate effort to mission-critical areas.
  • Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring the delivery of business objectives and goals
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into the further detailing of strategic content.
  • Develop knowledge repositories and playbooks for Strategy and Innovation to embed practices.

Education:

  • A first degree in a related field
  • Possession of project management certification and/or an MBA is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English

Experience:

6–13 years’ work experience, which includes:

  • Experience working on business transformation projects
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working in a global or multinational management consultancy (understanding emerging markets)
  • Management experience is advantageous.
  • Advanced experience working with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
  • Creating strategy documents to address business problems
  • Project management experience
