1). Stabilization Center Coordinator
Location: Yobe
The Opportunity
- The position holders will lead the management of children under 5 with complicated severe acute malnutrition in the established stabilization centre in Damaturu LGAs in Yobe State. He/she will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, discharge, and follow-up of children admitted with complicated severe acute malnutrition based on the National and WHO guidelines.
About You
- We are looking to recruit person (s) with:
- Minimum MB:BS/MD with experience in emergency nutrition response especially complicated SAM management in the Stabilization center and clinical experience in Under five children illness diagnosis and treatment in the hospital.
- At least three (3) years of experience in complicated SAM case management in the SC and CMAM programs.
- Valid and current practicing license.
- Excellent report-writing skill is a requirement
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Hausa
- Commitment to and understanding of PLAN’S aims, values, and principles.

2). Project Manager- GFFO
Location: Borno
The Opportunity
- The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of project progress as per the project proposal, budget, logical framework and contractual compliance obligations. S/he will oversee and ensure that implementing partners and field level teams have the required level of support, guidance, and information in order to implement the project to high standards, coordinating and communicating effectively with internal and external contacts and ensure follow up and support where required
About You
We are looking to recruit person (s) with:
- University Degree, preferably with a Masters’ degree, in Social Science, Social Work, human rights, law, psychology or related field
- A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in child protection work with a humanitarian organisation.
- Solid knowledge base and practical experience in community-based child protection/GBV approaches, case management, psychosocial support and child participation methodologies.
- Experience of managing the programme cycle, including assessments, proposal and report writing, Monitoring and evaluation.
- Strong experience and skills in management of staff from different backgrounds, including nutrition and livelihoods.
- Experience in building relationships, fostering interagency coordination and experience of representing an organization to external parties.
- Strong self-starter, able to set up and manage child protection programmes
