1). Fleet Manager
Location: Lagos
The ideal candidate will be responsible for
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve PNG fleet operations (motor vehicles, boats, motorcycles, and other approved transport forms)
- Follow up with Finance and other departments to ensure insurance documents (policy registration, claims etc), security and other necessary documentation for all PNG vehicles are processed
- Develop and implement a risk management system for PNG fleet management
- Implement proactive measures to prepare for changes in Company policy, government regulations and other factors that will affect PNG’s fleet operations in Nigeria
- Initiate and contribute actively to the strategic planning for all PNG fleet operations to meet the Company’s emerging and future transportation needs.
- Perform and oversee activities related to acquisition, utilization, repair, preventative maintenance and replacement of PNG’s fleet, vehicle spares and accessories to satisfy the company’s growing transportation needs and policy initiatives
- Design and initiate fleet maintenance programs and report on fleet efficiency
- Review quotation from suppliers and vendors and advise PNG management on the best option in terms of cost and brand quality
- Prepare and manage budgets and expenditure for the fleet department’s annual operations
- Monitor the depreciation and amortization process for all vehicles in the PNG fleet and oversee the sale of fully or partially depreciated vehicles
- Research fleet efficiency and recommend effective and cost saving approaches to fleet management
- Establish and administer a Vehicle Replacement Program
- Manage pool and tool of trade vehicles at various locations and coordinate their assignment to all users
- Manage company fuel program (including strategic fuel reserves and dumps around the country) and advise management on alternative fuel use systems to ensure efficiency and control
- Prepare, review and recommend changes to PNG’s transport policy
- Liaise with third party vendors (service and motor vehicle driver providers) to negotiate cost effective rates
- Establish proper coordination of regional fleet operations for efficiency and control purposes
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant local authorities, especially Nigerian Police, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Customs, Immigrations etc
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- First Degree in Arts, Social sciences or any other relevant discipline.
- Masters degree in Transport Management will be an added advantage
- Minimum 8 years work experience, of which 5 years must be in Transport/Fleet Management in a reputable organization running a large fleet
- Minimum 3 years at a supervisory level
- Working relationship with Police, FRSC and traffic regulatory bodies

2). Supervisor – Foreign & Trade Payments

About the job
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Online processing of Form M and Letters of credit
- Liaising with banks to resolve discrepancies on the letter of credit and shipping documents
- Compliance with regulatory agencies on all trade documentations
- Adherence to Policies and Procedures
- Monitoring trade related requests and activities.
- Monitoring FX debits in the statements
- Documentation of Forex transactions and ensuring prompt settlement to foreign suppliers
- Preparing monthly schedule of interest provision on long and short term loans
- Updating of LC reports showing clearly confirmed and unconfirmed LC positions
- Checking of Pre and Post Negotiations charges on Letter of Credit
- Ascertaining impact of IFRS 9 on derivative instruments
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
