2). Maintenance Engineer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
- Responsible for end to end Maintenance of factory facilities, designing, implementing, controlling and optimizing industrial processes, especially continuous ones within the factory.
Scope
- Testing and evaluating the processes to locate inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvements to quality, productivity, safety, and cost.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Create, set specifications, develop, implement and monitor this equipment or these processes as part of the manufacturing system
- Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions in the factory
- Develop new processes for high efficiency and cost effectiveness in the factory
- Analyse and troubleshoot process problems so as to make continuous and permanent improvements.
- Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations.
- Work in conjunction with all engineering and R&D to support new products and new manufacturing technology platforms in operations
- Develop and implement metrics to monitor and improve performance of processes in the factory
- Develop and perform experimental process tests with respect to quality, method, cost, etc.
Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline required
- 5+ years in process engineering
- Impeccable maths and statistical analysis skills
- Excellent eye for detail
- Proven history in improving supply chain efficiency
- Must be comfortable with integrating new technology into an existing business environment.
