1). IT Site Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • An IT Site Engineer is responsible for maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure and services at a specific location or site.
  • This role involves a wide range of tasks, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing local network configurations, ensuring data security, and providing end-user support

Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Support (ITOP):

  • Maintain and support the site’s IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and end-user computing devices, to ensure high availability and performance.

Service Level Management (SLMO):

  • Monitor IT service performance against agreed service levels and performance metrics. Identify and implement improvements to meet or exceed these standards.

Incident and Problem Management (USUP, PBMG):

  • Provide first-line response for IT incidents and service requests, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

Change Management (CHMG):

  • Implement changes to IT systems and configurations in accordance with organizational change management procedures to minimize risk to service availability.
  • Document changes and maintain accurate records of system configurations and modifications.

Information Security (SCTY):

  • Maintain security measures to protect data and IT assets at the site, in line with organizational security policies and standards.

User Support and Training (HUSP):

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, enhancing their understanding and efficient use of IT systems and services.

Vendor Management (SUPP):

  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements and contractual obligations.

Technology Awareness and Evaluation (EMRG):

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and IT trends that could benefit the site’s IT operations.
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for their adoption to improve IT service delivery and performance.

Collaboration and Communication (RLMT):

  • Work closely with IT teams, business units, and external partners to ensure IT services align with business needs and objectives.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Relevant technical certifications or associate degrees may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree for candidates with substantial experience.
  • Professional Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or other relevant IT certifications.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role, with a proven track record of maintaining and troubleshooting IT infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting end-user computing devices (PCs, laptops, mobile devices), including hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and firewall settings.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and managing IT security measures, such as antivirus software, patch management, and access controls.
  • Proven ability to provide technical support and training to end-users, effectively communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.

2). Asset Care Manager

Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

  • The Asset Care Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the plant maintenance strategies in accordance to global best practices to ensure asset reliability and availability within the best optimum cost.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establishes, monitors and reinforces control on maintenance strategy execution in plant in alignment with country strategy
  • Organises and schedules annual overhaul of production lines and facilities
  • Improves efficiencies by increasing preventive maintenance across the plant and to minimise breakdowns and reduce mean time between failures.
  • Develops business plans providing productivity improvement and stretchy targets for cost efficiency
  • Ensures implementation of basic cycle maintenance, lubrication, cleaning and inspection (CIL) and instils these principles to be part of the culture of operators and technicians.
  • Ensures proper upkeep and prevents loss of the tools and equipment in the engineering department.
  • Take lead in change management for the engineering/maintenance department related to people structure or role changes, technology enhancement, regulatory and company initiatives on productivity.
  • Ensures that their key customer – production and management are provided with prompt and reliable service.
  • Builds maintenance teams’ capabilities through implementation of training and development programs, ensures IDP’s are in place and executed for all direct reports.
  • Ensures training programmes are attended by all nominated team members. Follows up implementation of leanings
  • Drives innovation in production equipment by ensuring continuous process improvement and exploring global and industry benchmark and employees input
  • Listens to and encourages employee recommendations and implements the ones delivering values quickly

Qualifications

  • A minimum of Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) or HND in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
  • 8 – 10 years relevant hands-on FMCG operation and maintenance experience.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a beverage bottling company in a managerial capacity.
  • Experienced in budgeting and people management
  • Knowledge of bottling operations: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health and Safety
  • Knowledge of CMMS, EXIM, MP2 or MaintEdge, SAP PM, Navision
  • Must Possess CMRP CERTIFICATION or similar Engineering certification will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in plant manufacturing operations, project planning & implementation.
  • Previous new equipment or line installation or extension could be an advantage.
  • Understanding of business case/cost benefits analysis preparation and basic financial analysis tools.
  • Ability to influence situations without direct control of resources.
  • Proven competencies with budgeting procedures and management of costs.
  • Good understanding and experience of current WC manufacturing methodologies.
  • Good understanding of HQSE modalities and codes.
  • Good understanding of GMP and GHK (5S) standards.

3). Safety Manager

Position Overview

  • The safety manager is responsible for preventing workplace accidents, promotes health and safety awareness by educating fellow employees.
  • He/she is responsible for making sure that employees follow health and safety laws, creating policies for a safer work environment, taking measures to identify potential workplace hazards and improve existing conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination of SHE Management Systems in the factory and external warehouses in line with the company’s acceptable standards, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 EMS
  • Work with HODs and administrative teams to identify occupational and environmental hazards and to introduce suitable controls in the offices and warehouses.
  • Follow up on agreed control measures to ensure safe work practices.
  • Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials across the offices and external warehouses.
  • Communicates all relevant Local/organisational SHE standards to employees, contractors and visitors.
  • Identify and support in implementing SHE program at the head office, warehouses and contractor management.
  • Coordinating hazard spotting, near-misses and reports of unsafe acts in the workplace.
  • Conduct periodic inspection and ensure servicing of all SHE equipment as required on site. Prepare a report for the SHE manager and ensure timely closure of all identified gaps.
  • Conduct periodic internal audit and inspection as planned, generate relevant reports for plant leadership and ensure tracking and closure of remedial actions.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of BSc / HND in Engineering, Sciences/Humanities.
  • 5 – 10 years relevant hands-on FMCG operation and maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of bottling operations: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health and Safety
  • Operational planning expertise/experience
  • Understanding of financial impact of decisions
  • Ability to select and assess first-line managers
  • Coaching direct reports and mentoring others
  • Ability to translate functional strategy into unit/section’s plan
  • Must Possess Basic HSE CERTIFICATION, NEBOSH will be an added advantage.

4). Master Data Manager

  • The Master Data Manager is responsible for the overall management of the organization’s master data.
  • This includes defining the master data requirements, developing and implementing the master data management solution, and managing the master data program on an ongoing basis.
