1). Certified Rigger M/F

Location: Lagos

Job description

SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Certified Rigger to join it’s workforce in Nigeria.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Piping/Structural Works Foreman.
  • Achieves lifting activities offshore on schedule and according to HSE regulations.
  • Manages a rigging team offshore efficiently and in a good working spirit.
  • Ensures effective and timely response to construction activity and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Validates offshore construction works by ensuring that they are accurate and meet overall Statement of Requirements.
  • Ensures HSE values are well understood and are not breached under any circumstance while carrying out offshore construction activities.
  • Preparing lifting plan.
  • Preparing the permit to work and getting it approved by Site Lifting Specialist.
  • Organize day to day work offshore in conjunction with ECP construction work leader.
  • Compiling and maintaining a Rigging Loft register and make sure that equipment is in good condition.
  • Ensures that the level of supervision on site is sufficient to meet project specifications requirements.
  • Acting as handling and lifting authority on validation of contractor’s key deliverables and prescribed audits as necessary.
  • Liaising with Site Lifting Specialist on a day to day basis for all lifting operations.
  • Ensures that activities performed on site in the project perimeter fulfil project HSE requirements.
  • Reports any incident as per Company and Project rules.
  • Implements with Contractor Site Representative any Risk Assessment of Job Safety Analysis as required by Project HSE procedures.
  • Carries out all lifting operations supervision / monitoring activities required for the successful delivery of the Contracts assigned.
  • Participates in Job Hazard Analyses and Attend safety toolbox meetings on a daily basis with contractors’ work teams.
  • Create work procedures; assess contractors’ personnel and equipment for suitability for the work.
  • Providing technical input on contractor and consultant selection with handling and lifting content.
  • Promoting best practice and use of innovative technology including maintenance of the CMS principles and the LMS.
  • Verifies that the lifting equipment satisfies regulatory requirements: Condition / fitness for purpose, SWL and WLL, Serial No. Identification Number, Valid certificate, Color code if applicable.

Profile

Qualifications Required

The holder of this position must have the following qualifications:

  • Diploma holder
  • Experience in Offshore construction, Site supervision, Installation, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning in an Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Industry preferably on an FPSO.
  • Advanced rigging and lifting level 2 competences minimum.
  • Experience in oil and gas or related industry to have knowledge of the specific environment linked to HSE aspects
  • Ability to work in a large multinational team
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
  • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site
  • Working language: English mandatory, French is an advantage

2). Rigger M/F

Location: Lagos

Job description

  • For a pre shutdown project SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is actively looking for Riggers to join its work force in Nigeria.
  • Experience wise, you will need to be experienced as an Oil & Gas Rigger.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all maintenance and installation work is carried out effectively and safely.
  • Support the team structure and work with the team to achieve set objectives in a timely manner.

Profile

  • Ofshore experience is mandatory.
  • Extensive experience in Oil & Gas.
  • Experience in shutdown project is mandatory.
  • Extensive experience working as a Rigger.

3). Commissioning Engineer H/F

Location: Lagos

JOB DIMENSIONS : 

  • Responsible to organize the preparation and the execution of the commissioning activities of related to 2023 AKPO FPSO FFSD, in
    operation, in a safe way during the life of the 2023 FFSD.
  • Assists pre-commissioning and commissioning activities during the 2023 AKPO FPSO FFSD.
  • Service dimensions include working in TOTALEnergies Lagos office, Contractor yard and Site activities onboard AKPO FPSO.

MISSIONS :

  • To promote HSE behavior within the commissioning activities and verifies that HSE procedures are implemented by commissioning
    team.
  • To develop a strategy to minimize offshore commissioning and minimize lost time due to interfaces.
  • To define, mobilize and manage an organization which will cover the preparation and the execution of commissioning
  • To manage the preparation of pre-commissioning/commissioning procedures and reporting tools (including technical database when
    applicable, planning, punch list control).
  • To manage the execution of commissioning to achieve maximum productivity, minimize cost and achieve smooth hand over.
  • To co-ordinate with other project entities/existing facilities.
  • To supervise the reporting of commissioning execution to ensure that all technical, contractual and cost information is properly
    recorded, collected and available for inspection/reference as required by law regulations and company policies.
  • To supervise the schedule of commissioning in order to reach the planned end date

Commissioning preparation phase :

  • Responsible for the review and the approval of the various commissioning preparation tasks to be performed by the Contractor :
    work repartition , priorities, resources, schedule, coordination of the preparation team.
  • Review and approve the commissioning management procedures (hand over, interfaces, punch list, internal organisation…).
  •  Review and approve the commissioning dossiers prepared by the Contractor (including database populating and operational test procedures writing).
  • Coordinate activities of the Company commissioning supervision team (system engineers, discipline supervisors, planning /
    punch list controller).
  • Identify and address all interface issues with other project packages with respect to commissioning.
  • Prepare overall commissioning plan.

Profile

Commissioning execution phase :

  • Responsible for the overall safety of commissioning activities.
  • Responsible for witnessing and monitoring the pre-commissioning activities performed by the Contractor.
  • Countersign all pre-commissioning dossiers at Ready For Commissioning (RFC) status.
  • Control all commissioning activities performed by the Contractor
  • Check progress against planning and recommend any necessary corrective actions, close follow up on punch list.
  • Ensure correct reporting of commissioning activities in time frame.
  • Report immediately any unexpected events which may affect the commissioning of the plant or the start up.
  • Review and approve the commissioning dossiers after completion of commissioning activities and sign the Ready For Start Up and hand over certificates.

PROFILE : 

  • Compliance with DW ECP HSE KPI & Objective and assist DW ECP AKPO FPSO FFSD team in compliance with overall TUCN
    HSE requirement.
  • Ensure effective and timely response to technical queries in compliance with set standards, company specifications and safety
    procedures.
  • Ensure effective and efficient interface relationship the FFSD teams in Lagos and FPSOs AKPO.

Qualification and experience: 

Expert on OPERCOM and ICAPS

  • Education: At least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Professional experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in a lead commissioning role.
  • Previous work experience in FSO/FPSO
    within a FFSD context is a plus.
  • Familiar with Total Opercom methodology,fluency in English, strong management and communications skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools.

4). Digital Engineer M/F

Location: Lagos

Job description

SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Digital Engineer to join its work force in Nigeria.

  • Key contributor to the development and operationalization of new Digital initiatives and tools at ideation, valuation, development, deployment and run phases of digital products.
  • Ensure FOPS digital strategic objectives are prioritized and achieved to improve operational efficiency and CFR.
  • Log, research and prioritize pain points/improvement opportunities and present same for management arbitration and budget allocation.
  • Develop KPIs to monitor the adoption of new digital tools and ensure FOPS digital applications have maximum uptime and runs efficiently within specified performance criteria.
  • Interface with Affiliate Digital & Innovation teams and IST to ensure FOPS digital initiatives are coherent and consistent with Affiliate and Group strategy.
  • Provide training and coaching on new and existing digital tools within FOPS and related entities.
  • Ensure value created by new digital tools are tracked, analysed, reported, and communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure improvement in user experience for digital tools in operational phase through surveys, one-on-one interactions and efficient tracking/resolution of bugs, pain points, new use cases, etc.
  • Ensure tracking and robust analyses of the adoption and use of new and existing digital tools
  • Develop and update users access policy for data security with routine audits to assure consistency with users’ functions/roles.
  • Participate in data management audits and ensure best practices and KPI are respected.
  • Data quality assurance as input to tools development or communication of output from digital tools.
  • Ensure FOPS databases are suitably modelled after operational requirements with continuous updates & retrieval as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of new applications that can run on PI Process Books & PI-Vision and user guidelines.
  • Any other duties/projects that may be assigned to him/her by the hierarchy.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Two Deep Offshore locations/2 FPSOs producing 180 kbopd & 16 Mmscmd)
  • Several digital initiatives and tools at different phases of their lifecycle – development or deployment or operational.
  • Change management implementation as part of the deployment and operationalization of new digital tools.
  • Significant CAPEX investments towards the Deepwater Digital Roadmap with attendant Return on Investment expectations.
  • Improvements in OPEX and operational efficiency based on digital tools deployed in Deepwater Asset.

Profile

  • 1st Degree in Engineering or Information Technology and 7- 10 years’ experience in oil & gas processes and operations.
  • Hands on experience in change management in development, deployment, and operational phases of digital tools/applications.
  • Strong data analysis skills; familiarity with data analysis tools and statistical analysis methods.
