Job Description

  • SPIE  Services Nigeria Limited  is looking for a DATA Expert to join its team in TotalEnergies E&P/Upstream Nigeria Ltd Data network team.
  • The DATA Expert is the OEM Certified Expert on Data and Cabling Network Infrastructure DW/JV. With wealth of cognate on the job experience on the equipment operations, maintenance and management.
  • Expert: Data, TOIP, Copper & Fiber Cabling, IPTV, Video Conference, Wi-Fi, Switches, Routers, AP’s.

Responsiblities

  • Follow up the immediate resolution of critical and challenging system faults
  • Liaise with OEM for issues bordering on level 3 support on the equipment or network
  • Ensure compliance to COMPANY’S HSE practices..
  • Carry out analysis of routine maintenance report with the aim of proactively implementing any recommended corrective action
  • Implementation of major equipment relocation, equipment installation, network reengineering, reconfiguration and commissioning.
  • Training and mentoring of the support engineers and technicians within the team
  • Supervision of the team maintaining homogeneous equipment within the Data equipment and network
  • Resolution of level 2 and above faults on Data/structure equipment and network within the SLA
  • Preparation and implementation of routine or preventive maintenance
  • Updating of network as-built and site engineering documents
  • Provide periodic statistics on system performance.
  • Mentoring of Support engineers and Technicians within his team
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of Untrust (Internet) systems  including Firewalls.
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of data support infrastructure for Industrial networks (including DCS/ICSS/PI systems) in conjunction to FO/Instrument team. Resolution of all incidents related to data support infrastructure for Industrial networks.
  • Decommissioning of Data, TOIP and VC equipment at all locations
  • Installation, configuration & maintenance of Wi-Fi APs & devices (regardless of OEM) like Ucopia & Cisco WLAN controllers)
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of TOIP Voice Gateways and Gatekeepers (regardless of OEM).
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of Message display/CBIS/DMIS systems.
  • Installation, configuration & maintenance of data multiplexers, data monitoring and management tools (regardless of OEM) like packet shapers, Netflow (Solar winds), Cisco Prime, Cisco TACACS/ACS/ISE etc.
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of all Data Infrastructure devices(regardless of OEM), TOIP,CUCM, Cisco IP phones, Analog phones, Modems, IPTV devices, IP CCTV devices, VC devices etc.
  • Resolution of all incidents related to TOIP devices (regardless of OEM) including CUCM, Voice Gateway routers, Analog VGs, Cisco IP phones,
  • Routine and Preventive Maintenance of Video Conference (VC) Infrastructure; Daily & Weekly testing and Availability reporting on VC devices
  • Routine and Preventive Maintenance of TOIP Infrastructure; Daily & Weekly testing and Availability reporting on TOIP device

Profile

  • As a DATA Expert the holder of this post must have the following qualifications: Engineering Degree, CCNP, CCIE
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues

2. Governance & C & P Committee Coordinator

Responsibilities
 He/She will:

  • Facilitates the presentation of Quality High Value Purchasing Dossiers to the Contracts Committee (Tenders Board) for Consideration/Approval:
  • Carries out High Level Preliminary Review (Quality Assurance / Quality Control) of Purchasing Dossiers (Strategy, Award, Post-Award) to be presented to the Contracts Committee (Tenders Board) for Approval and provides timely feedback on them after examining/testing them to ensure the following: Transparency, Fairness, efficiency, economy, Accountability & Ethical Standards.
  • Supports the Manager in preparing for & coordinating the Contracts Committee
  • Maintains two trackers: A Contracts Committee QAQC Tracker and a Contracts Committee Meeting Highlights/Actions Tracker to facilitate adequate follow-up on Open Actions to closure and proper Record maintenance.
  • Prepares Sustainability Moments to be presented at the Contracts Committee Meeting (in line with the Sustainable Development focus of Company.)
  • Carries out General Facilitation of Divisional Governance Meetings and Reporting:
  • Collates inputs from the different Domains and presents in Report format
  •  Co-Moderates the HSE Meetings and Interface Meeting with Company’s External Stakeholders Interface Division (Partners & Authorities Relations Team)
  • Ensures smooth coordination of the Meetings including Safety Moments.
  •  Prepares and circulates Reports in a timely manner
  •  Develop and improve upon Meeting templates
  • Collates inputs from the different Domains and presents in Report format
    Co-Moderates the HSE Meetings and Interface Meeting with Company’s External Stakeholders Interface Division (Partners & Authorities Relations Team)
  • Serves as the Division’s HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) and Sustainability (Sustainable Purchasing – Carbon Footprint Reduction; Energy Management;) Focal/Point Person.
  • Deputizes as the Division’s Compliance Representative ensuring the Due Diligence Compliance of the Division’s affiliated Third-Party Contractors/Vendors.
  • Deputizes as the Division’s Company Management System (CMS) Correspondent ensuring that the Division’s Governance Documents (Procedures, Work Instructions) are uploaded to the CMS portal and updated as required.
  • Supports the Methods & Performance Sub-Division (Strategic Sourcing Department) in the preparation of the Procurement Plan (Look-ahead Procurement Planning for Contracts Committee purposes.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Law, Engineering, Sciences, Business and Humanities
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in Purchasing (Contracts & Procurement) or/and other Supply Chain Management activities in the Oil & Gas Industry or elsewhere.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies in Supply Chain Management or Operational functions will be an added advantage.

3). OJT Instrument Trainer

Job Summary

  • In order to participate to our growth of Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are looking for OJT Instrument Trainer .
  • This position is located Onshore in Port Harcourt with some Offshore missions on the FPSO in Rotational mode. 7d/7 if offshore, 6d/7 if onshore

Responsibilities

  • Deliver theoretical and OJT programmes for electrical & instruments technicians, supervisors, specialists and graduate engineers.
  • Develop and prepare all course teaching materials and visual aids liaising as required with the Recruitment Team. This will also include any course reference materials and/or student workbooks.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy of all individual training records and to provide accurate reports as and when required.
  • Provide the client with detailed student progress reports containing the
    assessment, level of competence, attendance and behaviors of the trainees.
  • Liaise with equipment vendors and any additional specialist instrumentation suppliers to ensure that teaching materials support the knowledge required for a trainee to develop satisfactory workplace competence.
  • Conduct instrument and control overview training program for production personnel and others requiring a basic presentation on the plants operational control features.
  • Design appropriate courses for the trainees and to schedule their release to the operational plant to enable them to quickly develop and utilize their new skills on the job.
  • Conduct refresher training courses and additional remedial program if requested

4). Cost & Project Controller

Job Description
We are currently looking for Cost & Project Controllers to join its workforce in Nigeria. He/She will be required to:

  • Maintain and follow up on management, production and maintenance related costs including preparation of budgets, control and monitoring of expenditure, preparation of reports and analyses of costs.

Missions

  • Prepares the EPC Project budget, resolving the, variances during the preparation period and coordinating budget discussions at all levels being the department focal point for cost control matters.
  • Receives budget schedule from Engineering & Technical Manager, integrating a detailed time-table for the various budget holders. Coordinates and progresses preparation with each site.
  • Collates and consolidates all cost inputs in one budget report. Prepares budget estimates and ensures that all budget figures are fully documented.
  • Participates in budget presentations. This includes preparing materials for the presentation, answering queries as required and taking notes for new budget revision.
  • Controls and checks all the invoices submitted by the Contractors and ensures sure that they are consistent with the contracts and supported by documents. Obtains necessary authorizations before forwarding for payment.
  • Keeps up-to-date cost records of all contracts held by Department. Advises the Managers and Superintendents in advance regarding the expiry of contracts.
  • Participates in the preparation of maintenance labor or turnkey contracts which involves liaising and corresponding with the Contracts Officer to prepare commercial and cost aspects tender documents and invitation to tender and assisting in evaluating bids.
  • Prepares reports and documents to be sent to Logistics Manager, such as accruals, authorization for expenditure, asset register changes, write off / disposal request forms, etc.
  • Reviews expenditure reports received from Project Manager, ensures that expenditures are properly monitored, and highlights significant variances between the budget and the actual costs.
  • Liaises with superintendents and engineers on financial procedures and systems, giving assistance when required. Liaises with Finance Department to ensure normal accounting procedures are followed.
  • Prepares various regular and as-hoc reports for Management information on Cost and expenditures, economic indices etc.
  • Develop / implement / revise various maintenance cost & financial procedures as required to ensure proper allocation of costs, reporting of cost, etc.
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to all Personnel with respect to Cost and Financial matters.
  • Undertakes other similar or related tasks and duties as directed by his Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Management
  • 5 years experience in Management including 2 years in contracts.
  • Good written and spoken English.
