Job Description
- The Intern – Photography and Videography will assist the production team in capturing high-quality photos and videos that align with the academy’s brand and storytelling goals.
- This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, develop technical skills, and contribute to various projects.
Key Responsibilities
Photography:
- Assist in planning and executing photo shoots.
- Capture high-quality images for events, classes, marketing materials, and social media.
- Edit and retouch photos using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Organize and manage digital photo libraries.
Videography:
- Assist in planning and executing video shoots.
- Record high-quality video footage for events, classes, promotional content, and social media.
- Edit video content using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Assist in the production of live-streaming events and webinars.
Creative Input:
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop visual content ideas.
- Provide input on story-boarding and scripting for video projects.
Equipment Management:
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of photography and videography equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is properly stored and organized.
Administrative Tasks:
- Support the team with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling shoots and managing project timelines.
- Assist with content archiving and maintaining an organized media library.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Photography / Videography / Film / Media Studies, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using DSLR cameras, video cameras, and related equipment.
- Basic knowledge of photo and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
- Strong creative and visual skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
Additional Requirements:
- Portfolio of previous photography and videography work (can be part of academic projects).
- Strong interest in visual storytelling and content creation.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
