Title: Videographer Intern

Location: Lekki Phase I, Lagos

Job Description

  • The Videographer Intern will work closely with our Video Production Team to create captivating video content that enhances our brand’s storytelling and engagement efforts.
  • This internship provides hands-on experience in videography, allowing the intern to develop their skills while contributing to the creation of dynamic video assets. The Videographer Intern will collaborate with various departments to produce high-quality videos that align with our brand’s identity and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, shooting, and editing video content, including but not limited to promotional videos, event coverage, interviews, and social media clips.
  • Operate video cameras and equipment to capture high-quality footage. Familiarity with various camera types and settings is a plus.
  • Participate in the post-production process by editing and enhancing video footage using video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Collaborate with the Video Production Team to develop video concepts and storyboards that effectively convey our brand message and engage our audience.
  • Work closely with marketing, social media, and content teams to seamlessly integrate video content into marketing campaigns, websites, and social media channels.
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing video equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
  • Stay updated on video production trends, techniques, and industry best practices. Provide insights and recommendations for improving our video content strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on video content requirements and objectives.
  • Contribute to the tracking of video content performance, analyzing engagement metrics, and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Video Production Team and other team members, including organizing shoot logistics, managing video libraries, and maintaining schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Video Production, Media Studies, or a related field from an accredited College/University.
  • Proficiency in videography equipment operation and knowledge of camera settings.
  • Familiarity with video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong storytelling and visual storytelling skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a creative eye.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • 0 – 2 years of experience
  • Passion for videography, creativity, and visual storytelling.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed for video shoots and events.
