Job Description
- Ensuring the facility is in good shape, manages the personnel needed for all maintenance jobs.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain the buildings and grounds of the organization.
- Overseeing the upkeep of equipment and supplies.
- Ensuring the buildings and grounds are maintained and cleaned
- Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and common areas.
- Dusting surfaces and furniture.
- Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Performing minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, or replacing broken tiles.
- Keeping track of cleaning and maintenance supplies and informing the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
- Monitoring and replenishing restroom and kitchen supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Ensuring that cleaning supplies are readily available and properly stored.
- Assisting with setting up rooms or spaces for meetings, events, or gatherings.
- Providing support during events, such as cleaning up afterward and ensuring the space is restored to its original condition.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for employees and visitors.
- Reporting any safety hazards or security concerns to the appropriate authorities.
- Following cleaning protocols and guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Providing excellent customer service by being courteous and helpful to employees, visitors, or clients who may have questions or requests related to facility cleanliness.
- Being willing to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on the facility’s needs.
- Adapting to changes in cleaning schedules or tasks as necessary.
- Communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Keeping records of completed tasks and reporting any issues or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
