Description
- We currently have 2-3 Internship Positions open, those selected few who meet our minimum criteria below to join our Team to learn, grow and hopefully contribute to our growth – with a path to full-time position if all goes well after intense months of hands-on training and immersion in the critical domains of Project Development, Energy Consulting and Technology Application in the Energy Sector.
Responsibilities
- Research Energy Macros, new Clients, Technologies, Partners and Solutions for EnergyCrossHair Services/Offerings.
- Develop Client and Partnership Proposals, Response to Tenders and Business Plans.
- Conduct Technical Site Assessment and Evaluation for Project Development e.g. in view of Solar IPP installation, Natural Gas facilities or Gas Customer Sites.
- Develop robust and integrated Economic/Financial Model in Microsoft Excel to evaluate the viability of new Projects and Business Opportunities.
- Participate in crafting business solutions in the 3 Service Categories of EnergyCrossHair – Project Development (Natural Gas & Renewables), Energy Consulting (Capacity Development & Energy Advisory) and Technology Application (Automation of Energy Facilities & Creating Energy Digital Platforms).
- Create Content and post regularly on our Social Media Platforms and Website Blog to educate, attract, engage and win new customers and partners.
- Be passionate, hungry and intentional to aggressively acquire the requisite knowledge and hands-on experience in the Energy and Technology Sectors to function optimally in ECH Team.
- Engage Clients, Project Partners, Regulators, Financiers and other Stakeholders in in-person or virtual presentations, negotiations, reviews and general discussions for Project Maturation and Development.
- Be Ready to Supervise, Develop and Train Student (Read Younger) Interns that we routinely take in to familiarise with work environments, ethics and engagements in professional work settings.
- Demonstrate natural fit personally and professionally with our VIP Core Values of “Value-Driven, Innovation and Partnership” in delivering our 3-prong Service Offerings of Project Development, Energy Consulting and Technology Application.
Qualifications
- First Degree or adequate Exposure/Experience to Engineering and Social Sciences Disciplines
- We prefer those currently in NYSC Program or who just finished the Service – Those who have finished and are interested in Interning with us can still apply (a formal degree is an added advantage but not a prerequisite)
- Intermediate-level Skills in Economic/Financial Modelling Skills with Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate-Level Skills in Creating PowerPoint Presentations for Proposals, Research Reports, etc
- 2-3 Years of Exposure or Experience in the Energy Sector in a Business or Project Development Capacity – Natural Gas, Power or Renewables/Solar
- Those who currently reside in Lekki, Lagos (Between Chevron and Lekki Phase 1, VI or Ikoyi) should apply – other candidates who are exceptional may be considered.
- 2-3 Positions are open and we would prefer 1 or 2 Candidates with Engineering Background (or Technical Experience or Interest) and 1no with a Commercial (Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc) Background or Experience or Interest
Remuneration
Being an Internship Position, we offer a Logistics Allowance of N40,000 – N60,000 per month depending on Candidate’s Skills and Experience and only those who are comfortable with this need apply.
