Description
- Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Research Uptake Manager to join our team in either the UK, Nigeria or Uganda.
- The Research Uptake Manager is an important, high level role that will maximise the impact of the research generated by the Research Programme; to develop policy-influencing strategies linked to evidence and learning from research conducted through various research activities at Malaria Consortium.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- MSc in Public Health, Global Health, Epidemiology or a related research discipline with a substantial research component
- Knowledge of the policy and practice environment in global health and current debates within the research discipline
- Strong skills in communicating scientific / development research to non-research audiences
- Demonstrable understanding of the broader RU theory of change i.e. the barriers to uptake experienced by decision-makers as well as the challenges of communicating research
- Skills in developing a range of outputs for communicating research – in print, electronic and face-to-face formats.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering research uptake strategies.
Salary
£48,000 gross per annum. (Salary is based on securing the job in the UK. The salary will vary based on location.)
