Principal Accountabilities

- To ensure the efficient operation of the Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing departments,
- Optimise manufacturing processes, productivity and purchasing efficiencies to achieve company targets and key performance indicators (KPI’s) in the areas of production scheduling, product costs, quality, inventory levels, factory costs and efficiencies.
- To ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained in the plant and conform to SCJ SHE standards.
- Ensure plant and equipment are maintained as per the Global requirements.
- Control Supply Chain budget.
- Train and lead departments in continuous improvement efforts to reduce set up times, on time shipments and improved quality goals.
- To ensure and maintain a stable industrial relations climate within the Supply Chain.
- The job holder is a full and active member of the Management Committee. As such, from time to time, he/she may be required to undertake wide ranging tasks and duties that are not limited to the experience and exposure of Product Supply.
- All tasks and responsibilities are to be carried out with the objective of creating positive benefits for the organisation.

2). HR Business Partner

About the Role
- On this position you will be responsible for providing a broad spectrum of HR services and support to Nigeria Commercial (Sales & Marketing) and Supply Chain teams based in Lagos.

Experience You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience and/or related HR lead, preferably within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company
- Familiarity with HRIS systems or similar large database, Workday experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations in Nigeria.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Planned Maintenance, supports department activities to design new processes, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures.
- Deliver capability development in Lean according to approved glide path
- Clearly communicate goals and objectives of the site lean program and loss reduction plans
- Drive the use of Lean tools for loss reduction
- Lead and support the Planned Maintenance pillar to reduce downtime losses affecting equipment availability.
- Ensure all SHE-critical equipment is maintained to global S. C. Johnson standards and further meet local regulations- responsible to assure site compliance
- Drive lean savings projects

- Supports, investigates, drives, and provides technical leadership in implementing cost saving projects, DTV, OEE Improvements and LEAN to existing processes and support systems in the region.

- Deploy metrics to track savings, monitor use of PM & EM tools and track effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

- Bachelor of Engineering Degree
- 6 – 10 years of maintenance and engineering experience (production, project, process, site, facilities) and project management at a manufacturing facility.
- Lean or TPM experience in an FMCG environment
- Exposure to high-risk operations such as plants operating and handling flammable & combustible materials in FMCG
- Experience with MS Project is an added advantage
- Knowledge and use of AutoCAD or equivalent.
