Job Description
- The Engineer Management Development Program is designed to prepare participants, Engineer Trainees, for future management opportunities within the Valaris Operations group.
- Our 2.5 year development program is designed to fast-track in an immersive experience through hands-on offshore rotational exposure, international assignments, leadership training, and program projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes mandatory training to work offshore
- Completes program requirements including but not limited to:
- Work corresponding with each developmental phase of the program
- Reports, projects and presentations as required by the program
- Company competency program
- Demonstrates effective leadership skills and practices throughout each assignment
Qualifications and Education
- Engineering degree from an accredited university; principal focus in Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum, Structural or Marine is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited maritime institution
- Ability to work offshore in a global rig environment for extended periods of time
