1). Control Field Specialist -Turbo Machinery and Process Solutions
Location: Rivers
You will be responsible for technical direction and safe site leadership of onsite installation, operational maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning & startup activities on Turbo Machinery and Process Solutions systems in accordance with engineering best practice and contractual work scope requirements.
As a Control Field Specialist -Turbo Machinery and Process Solutions, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out Control panel commissioning, logic modifications, loop & functional checks, panel certification and upgrades.
- Providing Technical clarification and supervision to the client on BH rotating equipment (HDGT, Aero GT and Compressors).
- Supervising of all troubleshooting, commissioning, and startup activities of BH products (HDGT, Aero GT and Compressors) as related to Control engineering during outages.
- Interfacing with BH Engineering on all matters relating to equipment reliability, operations, maintenance, and failure analysis.
- Providing direction and assistance to work groups to meet assigned objectives.
- Coordinating and overseeing work at the field site, providing quality service to the customer.
- Collaborating with others crew members to the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of Customer Equipment in the Field at Customer Sites.
- Executing all required responsibilities safely and as instructed by direct supervisors and following all TPS Service applicable processes and procedures.
- Providing all required records of all activities accomplished at Customer Site to the Baker Hughes TPS Supervisor and promotes and maintains good team relations.
- Making recommendations on findings, reviewing effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify future needs
- Overseeing, overhaul, troubleshooting, commissioning, and start-up of rotating equipment (BH TPS portfolio products) at customer sites
- Coordinating the cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.
- Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance).

To be successful in this role you must:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Turbomachinery Controls system and field instrumentation.
- 10000025 – Field Specialist III – SVS – CTRL _FIELDBe capable to demonstrate strong working experience on at least two of the following BH control systems – MKV, MKVI, MKVIe, Rx3i, GE Fanuc.
- Be capable to demonstrate experience in commissioning & startup of a GE or BH Turbomachinery equipment with Speedtronics MKV, MKVI, MKVIe, RX3i, or GE Fanuc control system
- Be capable of working independently as a control specialist and field Instrumentation specialist – self-starter.
- Have experience working on Turbomachinery equipment – Heavy Duty Gas Turbine, Aeroderivative Gas Turbines, Centrifugal compressors, etc.
- Be willing to travel for work up to 70% of the time.
- Specialized in Instrumentation and Control Panels.
- Have good Functional / Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Team working skills.

2). Aero Turbine Field Specialist – Turbo Machinery and Process Solutions
Location: Rivers
As an Aero Turbine Field Specialist – Turbo Machinery and Process Solutions, you will be responsible for:
- Performing in autonomy some of the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of TPS Aeroderivative gas turbine – LM2500/LM2500+, TM6000, and other Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Site.
- Performing minor/major maintenance of equipment following the TPS Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures.
- Providing activities records accomplished at Customer Site to the Baker Hughes TPS Supervisor and promotes and maintains good team relations.
- Providing Technical supervision and advisory service to Working with the Customer Representatives and Site Team to coordinate activities at the Customer Job Site.
- Executing all required responsibilities safely by following all TPS Service applicable processes and procedures.
- Providing expert limited troubleshooting on the equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the Field.
- Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance).
- Performing other related duties as required according to the specified scope of work.

To be successful in this role you will must:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. and solid experience in mechanical service engineering on Turbomachinery.
- Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (please indicate clearly on resume)
- Have at least 8 years’ experience mainly specialized in LM2500/LM2500+, TM/LM6000, LM9000 rotating equipment.
- Capable of carrying out the following activities without supervision:Level 1 activities on PGT25/LM2500/2500+/LM6000/LM9000Level 2 activities (HSE),
Level 3 activities (GG changeout or PT Changeout)
- Be able to perform in autonomy some of the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of TPS Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Sites.
- Be able to provide the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used.
- Demonstrate Industry experience and Turbo Machinery and Process Solutions product line training.
- Must have Excellent Functional / Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Team working Skills.
- Capable to work offshore
- Be able to be flexible with working patterns and shift rotations.
- Be able to travel flexibly, at short notice and be away from your home location for undefined periods of time up to 70%.
- Be a good team player and display good communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, with focus on customer.
