Job Summary

  • As a Graduate Trainee Ticket Officer, you will undergo comprehensive training to learn the intricacies of ticketing systems, passenger services, and operational procedures within the transportation sector. You will be responsible for assisting passengers with ticket purchases, resolving inquiries, and ensuring smooth operations at ticketing counters or automated kiosks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience and develop key skills in customer service, communication, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand the ticketing systems and procedures utilized by the organization.
  • Assist passengers with ticket purchases, reservations, and inquiries in person, over the phone, or through online platforms.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their journey.
  • Maintain accuracy in ticket transactions, including processing payments, issuing refunds, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as operations, marketing, and finance to support overall business objectives.
  • Stay updated on fare structures, promotions, and travel policies to provide accurate information to passengers.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Detail-oriented with good numerical aptitude for handling transactions accurately.
