Job Description

  • Handle incoming calls and schedule patient appointments.
  • Retrieve patient files, gather necessary details, and initiate registration processes.
  • Respond promptly to official correspondence and reach out to inactive clients and patients.
  • Provide comprehensive explanations of services, address patient concerns, handle complaints, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Manage client payments through various methods such as cash, cheque, direct payments, and Inter-switch.
  • Ensure timely remittance of all receivables to the accounting department.
  • Coordinate operational activities within the Outpatient Department (OPD).
  • Collaborate with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) and other healthcare retainers to verify patient eligibility and approvals.
  • Address patient inquiries, complaints, and questions, offering appropriate support and assistance.
  • Verify patient eligibility with HMOs, confirm active coverage, and obtain necessary authorization codes.
  • Reconcile daily sales with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for accurate accounting.
  • Conduct account reconciliations for received payments and incurred expenses.
  • Update client and patient information in databases as required.
  • Manage relationships with potential clients and patients.
  • Ensure timely updates to admission bills and settlement of payments before discharge.
  • Follow up with debtors to secure prompt payments.
  • Facilitate the completion of feedback forms by clients and patients.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Degree
  • 2-3 years of work experience in the Health sector as a Front Desk Officer
