Title: Administrative/People Operations Officer
Location: Chevron, Lekki, Lagos

Description
- There is an opening for an attentive and organized individual to serve as the Administrative and People Operations Officer of an Oil & Gas service company focused on exploration and production support activities.
- This critical role involves day-to-day administrative and operational activities within the organization.
Core Responsibilities
The role holder would be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all office activities and operations including but not limited to the following:
- Supervise and monitor auxiliary and contract staff.
- Oversee maintenance of the office environment
- Monitor office inventory and ensure consistent availability of all necessary products
- Organize internal and external events
- Make travel arrangements
- Support the maintenance of the Company’s Information Management System
- HR Support activities including participation in recruitment campaigns
- Participate in the preparation and submission of bids
- Participate in Project Execution
- Accept phone calls and manage visitors.
- Schedule and take notes at meetings and appointments.
- Bookkeeping, including oversight of all tax remittances on behalf of the company and its vendors (WHT, NCDF, VAT).
- Provide direct, relevant support to the Operations Teams and the CEO as required.
Requirements for Consideration
- A First Class or 2nd upper degree from an accredited university (preferably a Science or Business Administration degree)
- A minimum of 3 years of corporate experience post NYSC
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Bookkeeping / expense accounting experience would be a plus.
- Excellent planning, communication, interpersonal and management skills
- Good writing skills and an ability to create professional presentation packages.
- Demonstration of ability to work independently in an organized fashion.
- Self-motivated, mentally agile, proactive, organized, and hardworking
