Personnel Responsibilities
The successful candidate will, among others, do the following:
- Petty cash and cash float maintenance.
- Creation of payment vouchers and checks.
- Posting payment vouchers, bank deposit tellers, salary journals, and cash retirement journals.
- Monthly preparation of bank account reconciliation statements.
- Reconciliation of account receivables, payables, and statutory deductions.
- Reconciliation of staff loans and advances for all types of advances available in the organization and confirmation of bank lodgments.
- Preparation of the income and expenditure report.
- Any other job assigned and compliance with deadlines are very important aspects of your job.
Personnel Specification
- The candidate must have an OND in Accounting or an AAT with a minimum of one (1) year experience.
- Should be able to think analytically and receptively, as well as communicate effectively and interpersonally.
- The ability to use the Sage 50 Accounting package will be advantageous.
