- The Capital Project Services team advises governments and businesses in the delivery of complex capital projects and programs.
- As part of our team, you’ll provide expertise to clients on the design and delivery of transformative projects, program and commercial management approaches, and optimization of capital programs while ensuring project success, within constrained budgets or through challenging situations.
- You will work across many sectors providing services across the project life cycle from project feasibility, governance, infrastructure and procurement, construction readiness, project execution and readiness for operations.
- As a CP&I Manager you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. We help our clients plan, finance, manage, and deliver large-scale capital-intensive infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
- Drive Capital Project & Infrastructure business development and execution initiatives in Nigeria.
- Deepen our Capital Project & Infrastructure advisory capabilities.
- Establish, deepen and expand relationships with significant public and private players across the capital project and infrastructure value chain.
- Manage the delivery of capital infrastructure projects.
- Develop and keep up to date our Consulting & Risk Services go to market strategy for capital projects and infrastructure with a focus on sustainable infrastructure delivery.
- Identify the potential client universe within the industry value chain (public and private institutions)
- Originate, structure, coordinate and execute capital project and infrastructure engagements.8. Conduct needs assessment / strategic options analysis and concept validation for projects.
- Develop and maintain a very deep understanding of lines of service, “local” Consulting & 10. Risk Services competency offerings, Africa capabilities/specializations and Global capabilities within the context of the CP&I services delivery.
- Partner with all Consulting and Risks Services competencies and lines of services (locally and globally) in leading the client engagement, project origination and delivery.
- Develop and deliver “distinctive value / perspective” for capital project & infrastructure space.
- Effectively drive people development and manage the team to provide exceptional service
- Develop industry specific training modules and deploy accordingly (training sessions).
- Support leadership in building and maintaining a pipeline of competent staff in the Capital Project & Infrastructure team.
- Assist with developing or updating firm methodologies regarding infrastructure services delivery.
- Ensure teams follow risk management policies and standards on engagement delivery in accordance with the firm’s policy.
- Lead and report on industry engagement economics & metrics.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering or related field.
- Master’s degree in a Business or Finance related field is a plus.
- 6-10 years relevant work experience in strategy consulting, engineering consulting or investment banking with significant experience in the sector.3. Experience in financial modelling & economic analysis for capital and/or infrastructure projects.4. Certification in ACCA, ACA, CFA, PMP, PRINCE 2 or the equivalen
- Track record of advising on significant energy projects – experience across power, refineries, and petrochemicals will be a distinct advantage.
- Experience in a senior role in a large/global or fast-growing organization. Preference will be given to candidates who have practical industry experience combined with experience in consulting, investment banking or private equity.
- Experience in building and maintaining strong relations with senior level clients in both the private and public sector.8. Experience in financial modelling & economic analysis for capital and/or infrastructure projects.
- Must have significant emerging markets experience – preference will be given to candidates with advisory/consulting experience on large scale infrastructure projects network in Nigeria / West Africa.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading projects and diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

2). Senior Associate, Project Management Team

- Conduct feasibility studies in new business initiatives and create project charter identifying project scope, expectations, objectives, risks, approach, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, to support clients’ business goals.
- Identify project deliverables, develop thorough work plans, set milestones and timeframes for all deliverables.
- Review issues and problems related to projects, identifying potential project risks. Providing recommendations to address/mitigate risks.
- Evaluate, track, and manage the development and performance of project team members, to ensure productivity and achievement of business results.
- Ability to track project benefits and effective value realization monitoring.
- Manage vendors and contracts within the project chain.
- Compile lessons to learn for use by project teams in execution of on-going and future projects and participate in post project delivery review.
- This position requires a highly organized and pragmatic individual to manage client implementations and assist with pre-sales activities.
The Project manager will also have the following responsibilities:
- Ability to determine the implementation method to be used on projects.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering end to end Technology projects for medium to large organizations.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an area of technology specialization
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in agile practices and related tools. That is, proven experience in delivering projects applying Agile Methodologies and excellent knowledge on DevOps.
- Experience in Software Engineering, Architecture Technology, Strategy and Data Engineering is an advantage.
- Experience in coordinating multiple projects within and outside a program.
- Experience working in a medium to large multinational Technology organization.
- Proven experience in Managing large scale digital projects and solutions across complex, trans-national, cross-Functional program and channels.
- Experience of facilitating project coordination and managing expectations across internal, 3rd party and/or client teams according to project requirements and workstreams from kick off to deployment.
- Risk management prior to and during the project execution, managing risks within project timelines, budgets, and quality.
- Quality reporting for different spectrum of stakeholders.
- Formal project management experience in digital technologies such as cloud technology, new generation Apps, APIs and microservices is an advantage.
- Professional accreditation in a recognized project delivery methodology such as Scrum, PRINCE2/PMP Certification will be an advantage. Candidates who completed such certification training will also be considered.
- Strong time management, team facilitation, stakeholder management and organizational skills.
