Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital (BDTH) Kaduna, formerly known as the "Nursing Home," was founded in 1930 as a colonial administration hospital that served colonial administration officials and their families. The hospital had previously operated as a secondary healthcare facility (Specialist Hospital) before being established by the Kaduna State government as a teaching hospital for Kaduna State University. On March 31, 2015, the State Government approved legislation to create the hospital as Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, Kaduna.

- Family Medicine
- Obstetrics and Gynecology (O & G)
- General Surgery
- Community Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- Paediatrics
- Radiology
- Orthopaedic Surgery.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants to be employed for any position must present evidence of the following:
- MBBS Certificate from recognized institution
- Current Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) license to practice
- Evidence of full registration with MDCN
- Evidence of NYSC Discharge/ exemption certificate (where applicable)
- Candidate with primaries certificate of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or its equivalent is an added advantage.
